I was born on March 12, 1968 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. As a Young boy I played both   basketball and baseball. When I was 13 my family moved to Miami. There I began working for my father’s Boxing promotional company. My daily task consisted of me putting up posters in different parts of Miami, sending out mailings, and working the corners as an assistant to the head trainers of  several fighters promoted by my father. By age 14 I worked the corner of my world title fight. It was Colombian bóxer Mario Miranda against Puerto Rican bóxer Juan Laporte at the famed Madison Square Garden.

When I turned 18 and I was able to secure my Managers  license. As a birthday gift to me my father allowed me to manage a few of his fighters that were under his promotion. They were Superflyweight Sugar Baby Rojas and lightheavyweight contender Fredy Delgado. Rojas went on to win the WBC World title under my guidance.  I would continue on after that managing fighters and working as an assistant trainers for my father’s promotional company for boxers of the legendary  Hall of Famers Amilcar Brusa and Angelo Dundee.

At this point I was working in my father’s promotion fulltime and involved in multiple aspects of the buisness and learning on the job. I was involved in 14 shows a year for Univision and 12 for Galavision. I was doing work as both a producer and TV commentator. I teamed up with former world champions Miguel “Happy” Lora, Sugar Baby Rojas, Luis “Chicanero” Mendoza, Juan Polo Perez, Elvis Alvarez on the telecast.

I worked with Don King Productions for Mike Tyson’s fights after being release from prison in 1995. The fights I worked were Tyson versus the following. ? Peter McNeally  Buster Mathis Jr., Bruce Seldon,  his rematch with Frank Bruno and both Holyfield fights.

In the summer of 1999 I was  hired by the NFL and became the General Manager of the Barcelona Dragons of the NFL Europe. I had almost completed 2 years in the position when sadly january 8, 2001 while on Christmas break I was informed my father had suffered a massive stroke which left him bedridden from then until now present.  At that point I made the difficult decisión and resigned to take over my father’s business.  until
